what's the best way to sell a classic charger in this market?

Ok so the dad of my mom’s business partner has an all original 66 Dodge Charger for sale. It’s in good shape, and he has ALL the documentation on it from new. Yet he’s apparently having a hard time selling it (he’s asking 11k for it) and from what I’m told it’s in decent condition if not better.
(he could have probably sold it for 3x what he’s asking a few years ago of course)

But basically from what I’ve heard from her craigslist and the autotrader have yeilded nothing but a few sparse/lowball offers. And while I am a fan of muscle/classic cars. My area of expertise is more ford/chevy and I don’t really know enough about mopar to really give her any specific advice past looking for clubs and local car shows to take it to.

So any ideas/help w/ this would be appreciated
I should add that I have tried contacting the local mopar club, but the website is gone, and all numbers I find are old.

Also (if it matters) the car is in San Diego,CA

ok – well as you know with any of these cars condition and options are what sells. And the 1966 was not the most popular style Charger

if this is a "so so" 318 with an automatic it might be only worth $3K in this market

For $11K it should be a really nice condition 383 4 speed car

So the car may just be overpriced for the market
